Girls Basketball Picks Up Recent Win

Seven Hills girls basketball has several Stingers emerging as leaders in key statistical categories. Despite not yet holding a winning record, the team's progress has been evident on the court, highlighted by strong wins over New Miami and St. Bernard–Elmwood Place as the season continues to take shape.

Offensively, Anika Kakar has been one of the most productive scorers in the league, leading all players with 18.5 points per game. Her ability to consistently put pressure on defenses has anchored the Stingers' offense and kept Seven Hills competitive. On the defensive end, Sabrina Donovan has controlled the glass, leading the league with an impressive 15.0 rebounds per game, while Skyler Tyus has made her presence felt around the rim, ranking among the league leaders with 1.5 blocks per game.

With a young roster of nine players, the Stingers are embracing the opportunity to grow together and build momentum as the season progresses. The team continues to improve with each outing and is excited about what lies ahead as chemistry and confidence continue to develop.

Seven Hills will look to carry that progress into the new year when it returns to action after winter break, opening league play against MVCA on January 5.
