Girls Cross Country Goes Back to Back

The girls cross country squad is on a roll, securing team championships at both the Seven Hills Invitational and the Norwood Invitational over the last two weeks. With back-to-back victories, the team continues to prove they're one of the toughest to beat this fall.

At the Seven Hills Invitational, the Stingers dominated the field with 23 points, placing five runners in the top ten.

Campbell Coyne continued her standout season by winning the individual championship in 20:21.9. She was followed closely by:

  • Isabella McCloy – 23:02.5

  • Emma Brandon – 23:18.3

  • Penelope Hwang – 23:24.0

  • Cecilia Pohl – 23:46.8

  • Ava Yang – 30:13.7

  • Anjali Bhattacharya – 30:47.0

  • Angella Zong – 33:08.3

The team's strong pack running secured the invitational win over New Richmond and Cincinnati Country Day.

"This team just keeps finding ways to win," said Coach Luckie. "They race with confidence and run for each other, and that has been the difference."
