XC Finds Success at Districts

The Seven Hills Stingers Cross Country teams delivered impressive performances at the District Meet at Voice of America Park this past weekend, with both individual and team highlights making it a day to remember.

For the boys, Nick Roblyer had a career-best race, clocking in at 17:57.3 to finish 8th overall and earn a spot at regionals this Saturday. His focus and determination paid off in a stacked field. On the girls' side, Campbell Coyne also posted a career-best time of 20:04.4, securing 7th place individually and helping lead the girls' team (team consisting of Campbell Coyne, Penelope Hwang, Cecilia Pohl, Emma Brandon, Elena Pohl, Hattie Culpepper, and Samantha Allison) to a 4th place overall finish, qualifying them for regionals in Troy.

Head coach Tana Luckie was thrilled with the team's success, saying, "I couldn't be prouder of how our runners stepped up in a pressure-packed meet. Nick and Campbell were outstanding, and the girls' team showed real heart. We're ready to keep that momentum going into regionals."

With the regional meet on the horizon, the Stingers are ready for another strong showing this weekend!
