The Seven Hills Boys Golf Team delivered an impressive performance at the 2024 MVC Tournament, claiming second place with a team score of 318. The team's consistent play saw standout efforts from William Hartmann, who led the way for Seven Hills with a score of 75, finishing third overall in the individual standings.

Teammates Matia Kastner, Andrew Zhou, each posted a score of 80, tying for 6th place individually. Their collective performances were instrumental in keeping Seven Hills competitive throughout the tournament, trailing only CHCA, which secured the team victory with a score of 312.

"This was one of our best performances of the season," said Seven Hills coach Vining. "The boys played with focus and determination, especially under the pressure of such a tight competition. William [Hartmann] really stepped up, and I'm proud of the depth our team showed today."

Seven Hills' strong showing at the tournament underscores their potential as a team to watch throughout the rest of the season. With all four leading players placing in the top 10 individually, the team has proven it can go head-to-head with the top competitors in the conference.

At the Girl's Tournent the Stingers put forth a strong effort taking second, with several players delivering solid performances. Lucie Pease led the team, finishing with a score of 51, followed closely by Madeline Jordan with 52. Fiona O'Driscoll (61), Kenzie Motch (57), and Lilly Battle (59) rounded out the team's scoring in a competitive field.

Despite facing stiff competition, particularly from powerhouse CHCA, Seven Hills showed resilience and determination. The team's overall performance placed them solidly in the mix, with Pease finishing near the top half of individual competitors.

"I'm proud of the way our girls stayed focused and fought hard out there today," said Seven Hills coach Motch. "Lucie [Pease] and Madeline [Jordan] really anchored our performance, but every player showed heart. We have some younger players on the team with a lot of potential, and I think we're just scratching the surface."

With a balanced team effort and room for growth, Seven Hills will look to build on this performance as the season continues.
