The Stingers faced a formidable opponent, Lexington from central Ohio, in a thrilling match that ultimately resulted in a resounding triumph. The team's outstanding performance relied on the outstanding victories in three crucial matches, which propelled them to claim the coveted State Title.
Leading the charge was Senior Cole Cozens, who exhibited a remarkable display of talent in the first singles match against Lexington's Ethan Ramy. Cozens demonstrated his expertise on the court, ultimately prevailing with a commanding score of 6-2, 6-1, securing a pivotal victory for the team.
Junior Avi Mahajan demonstrated exceptional prowess in the second singles match against Lexington's Jake Chilcoate. Mahajan showcased his skillful technique, coupled with strategic play, resulting in an impressive win with a score of 6-0, 6-2. His remarkable performance contributed significantly to the overall success of the team.
Additionally, the doubles team comprising of juniors John Corbett and Gavin Isakov played Lexington's Jake Halfhill and Cooper Remy. The Stingers secured a remarkable score of 6-3, 6-3 and sealing the victory for the Stingers.
