Stingers Battle at Squash Nationals; Motch Goes Undefeated

The Seven Hills girls' squash team took the national stage in Philadelphia over the weekend of February 21, battling through a competitive field at Squash Nationals and finishing 1–2 overall. Representing the Stingers were Rona Asefa, Eleanor Kohnen, Kenzie Motch, Siena Motch, Maya Ramprasad, Naya Patel, and Alessandra Aly Trevino, who fought hard in every match across the weekend.

Leading the way, Siena Motch and Kenzie Motch delivered perfect performances, each winning all of their matches and setting the tone for the lineup. One of the most dramatic moments of the weekend came from Eleanor Kohnen, who battled through a grueling five-game match to secure a key victory that helped clinch the Girls Team win. Additional wins from Rona Asefa, Siena Motch, and Kenzie Motch helped seal the result for the Stingers.

The tournament also marked the final Nationals appearance for the program's two seniors, Eleanor Kohnen and Siena Motch. Their leadership and consistency have helped shape the culture of Seven Hills squash and laid a strong foundation for the younger players following in their footsteps.

With a young roster gaining valuable experience on the national stage, the Stingers leave Philadelphia with momentum and plenty to build on as they look ahead to next season.
