Seven Hills Welcomes New Squash Coaches Kingsley Amoako and Glen Wilson
Seven Hills is excited to announce the addition of two accomplished squash professionals, Kingsley Amoako and Glen Wilson, to our coaching staff. Both bring a wealth of experience and a passion for developing players both on and off the court.
Kingsley AmoakoÂ
Kingsley joins Seven Hills after four years as a squash professional in Charleston, SC. Originally from New York City, Kingsley attended Canterbury School (CT), where he captained the school to its first New England Championship and won an individual title at the #1 position. He continued his squash journey at St. Lawrence University, where the team reached #2 in the nation. Kingsley's coaching career began with StreetSquash in Harlem, NY, helping players of all levels reach their potential. Â
"We are thrilled to have Kingsley bring his energy and expertise to Seven Hills. His background in both competitive squash and coaching for a cause aligns perfectly with our goals for the program," said Athletic Director Scott Willard.
Glen WilsonÂ
Hailing from New Zealand, Glen Wilson brings a distinguished career both as a player and coach. A former top-30 ranked player on the PSA World Tour, Glen is a Commonwealth Games gold medalist, a three-time New Zealand national champion, and led the most successful New Zealand Commonwealth Games squash team to three gold medals in 2022. He has been honored as the NZ Maori Sports Coach of the Year and inducted into the NZ Squash Hall of Fame. Â
"Glen's resume speaks for itself. His accomplishments on the world stage and his reputation as a coach will be an incredible asset to our program and a unique opportunity for our players," said Willard.
Â
Seven Hills is excited to welcome Kingsley and Glen to the community as we look forward to elevating our squash program to new heights under their leadership.
