Lacrosse Making Early Moves in Spring

The Seven Hills boys lacrosse team is off to a strong start this spring, showing early promise in their two preseason scrimmages. The Stingers edged out Chaminade Julienne 10–9 on March 7 and followed it up with a convincing 8–3 win over Kentucky Bluegrass on March 11. Head Coach Brennan is optimistic: "We're excited for the season. We've got a lot of new players to the sport and the team, but we saw some good movement out there in both scrimmages." The boys officially open their season on April 2, facing a tough CHCA on the road.

On the girls side, the varsity squad is already rolling. After an 11–5 scrimmage win over Chaminade Julienne on March 13, the team kicked off their regular season with a dominant 13–5 victory over Loveland on March 28. The scoring was led by Siena Motch with five goals, while Sammy Willard added three. Kenzie Motch tallied two goals and controlled five draws, with Allison Koth, Charleigh Hayes, and Eleanor Kohnen each chipping in one.

Coach Sir Louis praised the team's mix of experience and fresh talent: "We've got a strong returning group and some new players who are already making an impact. This group is playing with confidence and energy." The JV squad mirrored the varsity's success, notching two wins of their own against the same opponents.

The girls will look to keep the momentum going with back-to-back home matchups, hosting CHCA on April 3 and McNicholas on April 4.
