The Seven Hills bowling program is rolling through its 13th season with strong performances from both its boys' and girls' teams. Under the guidance of veteran head coach Robin Wilson the Stingers are showcasing their talent and determination on the lanes.
This year's boys' varsity team is making waves with standout individual performances. Senior Adi Duggal leads the pack, rolling a personal best of 245. Fellow seniors Aaron Howard (224) and Nick Stein (210) are consistently contributing high scores, while juniors Caleb Katz (204) and Max Faison (199) have added depth to the roster. With a record of 3-3, the varsity squad is proving to be a competitive force in the league. The JV team is also showing strength, led by seniors Daniel Choi and juniors Calvin Armstrong, Brendon McLaughlin, and Paul Gubanich. Freshman Karim Abdelfattah has stepped in as a promising newcomer, helping the JV team achieve a perfect 2-0 record despite limited competition in the MVC.
The girls' team, although competing with a partial roster, has been impressive as well. Senior Madi Kasman leads the league with a 164 average, showcasing her consistency and skill. Sophomore Maya Little and freshman Ami Hariharan are building their presence on the lanes, representing the Stingers with pride.
Coach Wilson reflected on the season's progress, saying, "Our athletes have shown incredible dedication and passion this year. It's exciting to see their hard work translate into results."
The program is further strengthened by the expertise of assistant coach Paul Hall, who brings six years of experience with the Stingers, and Corey Wilson, the new head coach for the girls' team. Corey, a Seven Hills bowling alumnus, returns to mentor the next generation of Stingers with a legacy of success both as a bowler and coach.
As the season progresses, the Stingers are poised to continue their strong performances, aiming to strike down competition and make their mark in the MVC.
